The connection
Frankie is a Volkswagen — built in Germany in 1977. It felt only right to give the business a name that honoured that heritage. Volkswagen itself means “people’s car” in German, so in a way, we’re just continuing the tradition of straightforward German compound words that say exactly what they mean.
Eiswagen Script
“It’s pronounced ice-vah-gen. Don’t worry — everyone asks.”
